ranting!
ok so my family is kind of driving me crazy!!! My mom tends to baby me which i cant stand! i really miss having certain freedoms. like not having to ask to just go to a friends house and also i miss not having to go some place i dont want to. And like my mom doesnt ask me if i want to do things she just expects me to know what we are doing and do them. even if i already have plans or something. Like today my mom told me we were going to montero (a near by city) for the morning and have lunch. i was thinking ok thats fine, so i went well when the we still hadnt had lunch by 2 i told started to worry because i had dance class that i couldnt miss. i told my mom and she was like oh no we arent going back in time. this made me annoyed and i convinced her to let me take a taxi back to santa cruz. but the point is that when i missed class because i wanted to do something i got yelled at that i could never NEVER miss class, yet when she wants to do something that i dont want to and didnt ask if i wanted to its fine if i miss class!!!! ah!! its annoying! and its just she treats me like im so young and stupid! ugh plus she is one of those people is happy all the time even when its a fake happy. and my brothers that bicker alllllll the time. and im always getting told that i need family time BUT THEY ARE NEVER HOME!!! and they are constantly playing music which is ok but they play the same dang songs over and over and over and OVER!! its sooooooooooooooooooo annoying. and my mom is constantly on the phone and when she talks on the phone her voice goes louder and louder and shes like screaming!!!!!! makes me want to scream! and because im ranting....well im tired of being told that im losing to much wait but then they make me go to the gym! makes no sense! plus the constant complaining that i dont eat and that i never try anything!! im sorry if the food here is gross and i dont like it! and i tell my mom i just cant eat much meat yet all she does is press meat on me and then she makes jokes about me to her friends and people!!! ahh!! some times i just really want to get out of this house! sometimes i want nothing else but to get a new family here. i dont want to go home but sometimes this family drivers me insane. and its not like im having fun with them for normally when im with them they are driving me up the walls and i feel bad that i just want to yell at them sometimes and like tell my mom to stop and leave me alone. im a pretty mature person and i dont like or need to be treated like a little kid. i dont want her to treat me like one of her kids i want her to treat me like ME! for her kids are spoiled and never had a job or probably have one in their lives. their only job will be like the farm or something. my brother can pretty much talk my mom into anything and its just amazing! they have never had to earn their own money! idk i just miss being treated the way my parents treated me and not like a little kid and sometimes all the emotional stress makes me sick.............UGH! ok im done

Love, what shal we do bout it?
Weeellllllll....
Yesterday I was really bored so I texted up my mejor amiga y hablo hola que pasa? Ella had a blind date that night so she gracefully invited me over to help make her hair look beautiful! Being the wonderful me that I am, of course i went to help my Erika! Once arrive, after my weird taxi got me lost, Erika and I may out way to the separate building which is her bedroom. We became cozy on her bed and began discussing events which had taken place. Stories of dance, of boys, of everything we had done that was worth being told and fit for another person ears. We were laughing and giggling when Erika told me that she was trying to set me up on a blind date a well for esta noche con ella amigo, Christian. So we began to make plans on what would be fun to do with this kid I had never met before. We talk of the bowling, of clubbing, and such before we settled on either Mexican food or Cine Center. From there we gave the good lad a ring and told him got to choose. He carefully choose the Cine and said he would pick me up at 8:30 from Erika's. Now came the mad dash to get read
y. Since I was already dressed to go out (for that is how I came to Erika's) we got erika into her lovely purple dress. We fixed it so it neither puckered or showed her bra straps. Next came her hair courteous of me. We straight and flipped the hair making her look oh so pretty. I did a little something with my hair as well, but considering she was going to his high school prom dinner she look much more fancy than I. It was right about then when a boy I had hung out with a lot a Mary's party called me! He asked what I was doing and I nicely replied Yo voy a la cine con mi amigo, y vos? Then he causally explained that he had called to see if I want to go out that night, but seeing how I was otherwise preoccupied he asked if we could go out on Lunes!(Monday) I was so busy just trying to understand the spanish he was speaking for he knew none of my language that I agreed to go without so much considering the fact that I was going out on a date with a different boy in about 30min! So that is how it came for me to have a date una noche con Christian y another date una noche con Eduardo! Ui!.....Well after we had made ourself beautiful for our blind dates we causally went around to the main house to wait and talk some more. We discussed whether we believed the singers on the tv to be male or female, for some were very hard to choose from! At about 9 Christian arrived to take me on my blind date. Calling two taxis Christian and I went off to the movies and Erika went off to met her blind date. Christian told me that he was going to pay for everything which I refused time and time again. Finally we agreed that he could buy the tickets and the food after the movie and I would buy the drinks and the popcorn for the movie. It wasnt even at all, but it was the best I could get him to do. We ended up seeing a particula call something along the lines of "last ticket to paradise" As the film began we both began to realize that eveyone in this movie was insane and part way throw we decided that either we were to dumb for this movie or it was to dumb for us! Being a movie made by the team tha made Fargo, I could see why neither of us could get everything that was going on. At the end, we decided that it was a good movie and had some funny parts. Christian disliked the ending and he believed that the women should have died! Which caused me to ask him why serval times. Then some how we decided that when I was to die Christian was going to put me into a freezer where I was going to be kept for FOREVER! And that the freezer with me in it was going to be pasted down from father to son for a looooooooong time!! We had our wrap and rolls, which neither one of us could finish before we walk out side to hail our taxi. We talked more about the whole freezer arrangement and I convinced him to give me a pillow and a teddy bear while I was in the freezer (a freezer that would have food in it as well) We made it to my house where gave the kiss on the check good by and I went inside where I sat down to check my email and go to a sleep in which I woke up, had breakfast and wrote this beautiful blog.
Much love

Stuff..

Well, last night was Mary's going away party!!
I had to quickly come home from dance class, change, get ready, call a mobile, wait for one, then take the ride over there, and find the house. In all only took about an hour and a half. Once there, at first all we did was eat. We had to wait until her mom went to sleep before we could actually start partying! We turned up the music and off the lights and the drinks flow! (coke and simba) :D I got met some of Mary and Spencer's Bolivian friends and some are now my friends to so that's good. We danced and just had a ball! We all had fun and did stuff. :D People kept coming and going, but we all were having fun. Some of us sat outside on the side walk for some breaks (which reminds Dalton you owe me 40 Bs! and Meli you owe me 70 Bs!) In the end, I ended up sitting out side with Cheeks, Bolivian guy 1 and 2, and Mary. That's when ( at 1am) my tia came to get me and I had to say goodbye to Mary!!!! :(:(:(:(:(:(:( I got home and stayed up some more, but finally went to bed.
I woke at 11am had a quick bowl of cereal and just chilled until I had dance at 5! It was fun we did the samba, meranga, and reggaton (sorry none of those are spelled right probably). Then I came home to write this :)

Srry, this is a little late
Hey everyone!! I have been in Bolivia for just shy of 3 months! So here is a catch up of everything I have been up to since i got here:
Well I left for Bolivia August 22 at 7:20 in the morning! The first flight was fine for I slept most of it. hehehe. From there I had a 5 hour lay over in Miami, about 4 hours into the lay over I met up with two exchange students also going to Bolivia, Spencer and Becky. From there many problems occurred! The gate changed seven million times, the ramp broke, and then a storm came. (Plus Spence made us run across the airport just so he could get something ugh!) We finally got on the plane an off we went. I made good friends with the flight attendant. And then I slept! My first sights of Bolivia was just a bunch of dots in the night, because I didn't arrive until just before midnight. The airport was very very very small compared to some I have been in, so it was easy to find my way threw. After grabing my suitcases, I went off to find my family. They weren't like anything I was expecting! My mom is skinny, pale skinned, and BLONDE! My brothers are the same except they have brown hair! They were very nice and we quickly drove home. Where I unpacked and went to bed. :)
The next day I woke to met my grandma, aunt, and cousin (who live with us). My host mom took me to both the tennis club she help make and the Club de Tennis, which I am now a member of and go with my friends some times. The rest of the day was just spent relaxing and sleeping. Sunday, My family took me to see our quienta(farm). Its really amazing! Has cows, horse, pigs, emu, ducks, chickens, tucan, dogs, cats, and recently add constricter (snake)! And more relaxing on this day!
Monday was my frist day of school and one of the first people I met was another exchange student, Melissa Doty. Meli and I quickly became friends going through several first together! The first week of school was good and on the weekend I went back out to the quienta where I met several of my host relatives! Over all it was great.
The next week I had to take a spanish taste which I can say with confidence I FAILED!! YAY! That Saturday Rotary held a BBQ for the exchange students so we could get to know each other. Then a friend Ruben took Maija (another exchange student) and me to a Cultural festival, and then just out around Santa Cruz!
Now here comes some fun stuff. The next week was the week of the riots and political unrest in Santa Cruz. (Many of you probably heard of this) So pretty much, I had to stay home the whole week and went to the quienta on the semana(weekend). The next week as well was fully cancelled for school! H
owever I did go out several times with friends! Sadly though this week also was the Chao Fiesta por Lauren (an exchanger who
went back to the USA). However, little did I know at the time, but all my exchange friends had set up a surprise party for me on friday! Saturday was the party I had planned for myself considering it was my birthday. We went go-karting and then out to eat and then Attic (a club). Sunday Leah (another exchanger) and I made snowflakes out of paper! it was great!
The next was the big Fair week, so that was mostly what I did that week. Oh, and school was back on. Saturday was Brodie (from New Zealand) birthday party.
The next week and half was nothing special. I got sick for a few days, but other then that I went out a few times.
Friday the 10th was our Rotary trip to Conception! So early in the morning we piled into a
micro (a large colorful bus known for its bad driving skills) and head out! Along the way we stop in San Javer and had lunch and look at this old church! Getting back into the micro we took off and stop at this lagoon where we saw BUFFALO!! and took a swim in (if we had been thinking about it) a crap filled lagoon, but we loved it anyways!! Now soaking wet we climbed into the micro and made our way to Conception! We all (22 of us) chilled into a room to get to know ea
ch other over a game of "I have never/10 fingers). The next day we went to a small down outside of Conception where we were served some very...interesting food and some kids danced for us and some of us rode a donkey. (Not me) From there we begin what at first we thought was just going to be a little walk to see some flowers....we were wrong. The hike took us I would say a good 3 or 4 hours in
the hot sun! We were all burned to crisps, but when we did reach the top of the moutain it was well worth it for the view was AMAZING! Later that night Spencer crawled in my bed..not sure why but he did and it laughed and told him to leave. We left the next day, making stops here and there to see something, but by then most of us just wanted to get home!!
The following day the exchangers had a dinner at Med for Ethan, an exchanger that is living in Sucre and just came to Santa Cruz for the trip.
Saturday, Christain (who became my best bolivian friend) showed me around centro. We had coffee and he showed me some little stores and took me to the top of the catherdal's bell tower. It was great! If you come down I would show you.
I really can't remember what I did the next week, and I didnt write it in my day planner. Opps!
However Sunday the 26th (octomber) I ran a 13km race! And I did it in an hour and a half! Yay!
The next week was the last week of school. I went monday and tuesday, but it was boring. Meli and I went on Wednesday just so we could escape school and go have pizza, but sadly the pizza place was closed so well we just went and had lunch somewhere else. Friday Maija, Spencey, and I went costume shopping so we could go to Splash that night for Halloween! It was ok, but I ended up taking Mary home because she wasn't feeling good. That weekend I went to Semipota(thats not spelled right opps) with Maija and her family. Chelan came as well. It was good and chilly.
On Election day we had an Election Party, where we watched Obama kick McCain's butt! Yay
Sunday my friend Christain took me to see the new James Bond movie. We both decided it was a "Smart Person Movie." It was great! I love that kid! Tuesday I went to go stay with my tio(uncle) and my tia (aunt) while my mami and grandma went to Europe for 10 days! Since I have been staying at my tia y tio nada much has been going on.
Which brings me to yesturday when I started my dance classes. I am taking Somba, Salsa, Regaton, and Tropical dance. Not quiet sure what all that is :), but I have met some good people and I really like it!
Today I have dance (for it is everyday) and then I am going to party for my friend Mary (an exchanger). Her rotary back home thinks Bolivia is not safe enough (which is crap) so they are moving her to Argentina!! We are going to miss her so much!!
Well thats all thank for listening :) or reading in this case
